Hi everyone! If you follow me on Twitter, you know I'm in NYC right now and getting ready to leave for LA tonight. Here are some pictures from this weekend at The Awakening sculpture in DC. Built in 1980, the magnificent, 70-foot, five-part aluminum statue was designed by J. Seward Johnson, Jr. and tells the story of a distressed giant embedded in the earth, struggling to free himself. It's marvelous!
