W Hotel Fashion Week

Hi everyone! The hectic pace of New York Fashion Week demands you to be on your heels from 6am to 2am on any given day. There is nothing more necessary than a place of respite, pure relaxation and serenity to call your home during the pandemonium. The W Hotel Union Square was my Manhattan Shangri-La. For 10 days, the amazing group at Starwood Hotels graciously hosted me at their flagship W Hotel. The grandiose beaux arts Guardian Life Building, a Union Square landmark since 1911, was transformed in 2000 by David Rockwell into a Park Avenue oasis. With panoramic views of the Union Square park, decorative arts touches throughout and a grand staircase that beckons to magnificent balls past, the property was nothing short of stunning.
