Dag from Brussels! From René Magritte's surrealist The Treachery of Images, delicious mosselen-friet, Liège-born César Franck's beautiful violin sonata, the breathtaking medieval meets gothic meets neoclassical architecture to the lush Royal Greenhouses and such creative fashion geniuses as Ann Demeulemeester and Dries van Noten, there is a lot I love about Belgium. And, of course, who could forget the home of the best chocolates in the world? The lavender and rose flavors are worth the trip alone. Here are pictures from my latest visit to the capital.
