Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I am currently in St. Barths for one week of absolute relaxation. I might have told you all before about my love affair with this place. I'm head over heels for Saint Barthelemy! Though I'm usually here every January, this year has been so hectic that I needed a moment of respite, an unexpected escape with some great friends. Staying at Eden Rock, a Relais and Chateaux hotel on St. Jean beach, has been nothing short of spectacular, with lots of swimming, massages, dining, sun-bathing and simply relaxing. Here are some pictures from my first couple days.
P.S. Yesterday I received many emails regarding a MakeupAlley.com account. Just to clarify, I do NOT have an account. Nevertheless, thank you to all the members of the forums for your sweet emails in support of my blog. I appreciate your comments and well-wishes!
Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week. I want to share a great interview that I recently did with Brigette Namata, DC Accessories Editor at The Washington Examiner. It gives me the opportunity to answer some of the questions that I am asked daily. Thanks Brigette for such a lovely write-up!
Thursday, I attended Washington Life Magazine's Young and the Guest List honoree party. The event was held at The Washington Club's beautiful clubhouse--a sprawling mansion decorated with 14th century Beauvais tapestries, Chippendale-style furniture and magnificent gilded mirrors. The turnout was amazing, with the best of the city in full attendance. Being new to DC, it is with great appreciation that I am counted among the 250 most influential Washingtonians under 40. The party was amazing and as varied as the list, with political appointees, television personalities, fellow bloggers, editors, and ambassadors in attendance. Thank you Washington Life for this exceptional distinction! I am truly honored!
